Children’s Therapy Network’s (CTN) purpose is to serve children with special needs by enhancing potential by fostering independence through high quality, innovative therapeutic programs and striving for professional excellence through a collaborative atmosphere built on a foundation of dignity and integrity. CTN networks with alternative care providers in order to treat the physical, emotional, dietary, and spiritual needs of each family.

Children’s Therapy Network is a unique company designed to serve each child’s special needs. We are dedicated to preserving the “whole” family approach, recognizing that each child is one part of a complex family unit.

 

History

CTN was established in 2004 by Dr. Cassandra Woods – Peirce (Dr. Cassie), Physical Therapist, for the purpose of providing multidisciplinary therapy programs and services to special needs children and their families. She saw a need for a therapeutic community where everyone—the therapists, families, and the children—are partners in a supportive, welcoming, empowering environment.

Dr. Cassie received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda and her Doctorate Degree from Boston University. Ms. Woods specializes in the needs of children with developmental delays and provides a holistic approach to her practice. She is certified with:

  • Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT)
  • Infant Massage Instructor through IAIM®.
  • Autism Specialist through (IBCCES)
  • Tele-health Practitioner (IBCCES)

Mrs. Woods-Peirce is available for lectures and educational seminars.

Cassandra Woods PT, CEO

Hi, my name is Cassandra, but most people call me Cassie, or more affectionately Dr. Cassie.  I don’t fancy myself as a doctor, but I guess deservingly I do hold my doctorate degree in physical therapy.   I wear many hats in my life, just as you do, I am sure.  I am not only the owner of Children’s Therapy Network, but  I am a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend and a physical therapist.   I believe that the fact that I wear multiple hats and am first and foremost a mother, allows me to connect and relate personally to the families that we serve.   At a very young age, I loved working with children and held a special place in my heart for children with special needs.   It was that desire to give back to this special community that led me to meeting my best friend and now husband, Tom, who has also dedicated his life to people with physical and intellectual challenges as a Recreation Therapist. 

I have been a therapist since 1995, and started CTN in 2004.  With the support and encouragement of my husband, my family, the amazing CTN team, and partnering with companies in the community, I am proud to say that CTN has provided exceptional care to over 4000 families and is still growing.   I hope that you will allow CTN to be part of your family and help your child grow along with us.
